About the Job
Our client in the Greater Lansing, MI area is seeking a strong Maintenance Technician for 2nd Shift and 3rd shift for direct hire. As a Maintenance Technician, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the seamless operation of our material handling equipment, contributing to the success of our Molding, Paint, and Assembly processes.
Responsibilities:

- Perform line audits to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Repair paint fixtures and rebuild carrier trollies with precision.
- Safely operate a forklift on a rotating schedule.
- Exhibit teamwork skills and actively participate in team activities.
- Demonstrate problem-solving skills in a continuous improvement environment.
- Adhere to all safety and health objectives, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain proper ergonomics and follow company policies and conduct expectations.
- Meet or exceed daily production goals set by the Maintenance Technical Team Leader.
- Clean work areas, return tools to storage, and report equipment malfunctions promptly.
- Record and report all data required for daily production records.
Qualifications:
- Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively; basic mathematical skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude; training provided for job-specific functions.
- Previous welding experience preferred but not required.
Preferences:
- Strong attention to detail and precision.
- Enthusiastic team player with excellent communication skills.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed in accordance with Company Policy.
