Maintenance Technician (2nd Shift)

(Mon-Thur / 4pm – 12pm  & Fri 2pm-10pm)

$33.13 - $38.00 per hour / DOE

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Maintenance Technician (2nd Shift)to perform preventative and on-demand maintenance across a variety of equipment and systems, including electrical motors, material handling equipment, propane torches, man-lifts, hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, grinders, electrical test equipment, and ladders. This role also involves general building maintenance, light plumbing, carpentry, and painting as needed.

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative and on-demand maintenance on various equipment, including electrical motors and material handling tools.
• Conduct general building maintenance tasks, including light plumbing and carpentry.
• Assist in troubleshooting electrical/electronic challenges, focusing on motor control and lighting systems.
• Work with high voltages (up to 480VAC) and low voltage DC electrical systems.
• Utilize vendor manuals and procedures for maintenance and troubleshooting tasks.
• Operate power material handling equipment, including forklifts and electric pallet jacks, after MHE certification.
• Relay directions from the supervisor to other technicians and assistants.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment.

Maintenance Technician Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 2 years of related experience in maintenance or a similar role.
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC, energy management, hydraulics, and conveyor systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical and electronic issues effectively.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to follow directions.
