Responsibilities:- Respond to production floor maintenance calls from machine operators as needed
- Perform maintenance tasks to ensure continuous production
- Conduct preventative maintenance on all equipment and machinery as needed
- Read blueprints, instruction manuals, and mechanical drawings
- Rework and rebuild mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Perform electrical troubleshooting on all plant equipment and machinery
- Set-up and operate all types of production equipment and machine tools such as lathes, mills, and welders.
- Follow all aspects of the lock out/tag out program.
- Other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 3-5 years of mechanical/electrical technician experience
- Fluency in English & Spanish preferred
- Experience in food manufacturing preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite in addition to knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures
- Fork-lift operation experience preferred.
