We are currently accepting applications for 3rd Shift Maintenance Technicians.
Hours: 3rd shift, 12am-8am
Schedule and off days to be determined
Pay: $25/hr + $3/hr shift premium = $28/hr
Dress Code/PPE: Clean clothing. No loose-fitting clothing or loose fitting jewelry that could get caught in the machine. Long hair must be tied back to prevent possible injury. No hoodies with draw strings or pants hanging below the waistline, no shorts or capri's, pants must cover the entire leg, sleeveless shirts are not allowed.
Background Check to be completed
ALL CANDIDATES MUST HAVE 2-3 years prior Maintenance Technician experience in a warehouse/manufacturing environment
Job Description:
This position will be for 3rd Shift Maintenance Technicians.
Responsibilities and requirements include but are not limited to:
- Perform mechanical and electronic repairs of all equipment including conveyor system, printer, and sorting equipment.
- Respond to equipment break down or emergency situations with urgency and expediency.
- Complete preventative maintenance according to TQM and vendor operating standards.
- Evaluate and assess equipment problems by troubleshooting and completing repairs in a timely manner.
- Communicate and or escalate serious equipment issues to the Lead Technician.
- Study, review, and utilize vendor technical manuals, publications, or updates as needed to remain familiar with all changes or modifications to equipment.
- Train, assist, and guide other site technicians.
- Utilize inventory, pm schedule, and work order systems and maintain the spare parts supply and inventory.
- Evaluate and assess equipment problems by troubleshooting and completing repairs in a timely manner.
- Perform all additional duties as required.
Additional Requirements:
- Basic English language skills (spoken and written)
- Physical Mobility (lifting 50 pounds repetitively)
Additional Information:
No cell phones on the floor… Break time or otherwise
- No eating or drinking is allowed at any time on the production floor other than having a bottle of water
Additional Notes:
All employees must be on time, preferably 10 minutes before the start of the shift.
Candidates will adhere to the Company Attendance Points Policy. Numerous absences will be held against the employee.
