Our mission. Ark Behavioral Health is a network of Drug and Alcohol Addiction Treatment Facilities that provide a variety of levels of care to those who are prepared to begin their journey toward recovery. Spring Hill Recovery, a part of the Ark Behavioral Health network is located in Ashby, MA.
We are looking for a part-time Maintenance employee at Spring Hill Recovery Center, located on 70 acres of beautiful central Massachusetts woodland.
Schedule: Full-Time Sunday - Thursday 7am-3pm
Salary: $20.00 hour
Job Summary: Maintenance is responsible for the performing and supervision of building and property maintenance for the facility.
Maintenance Essential Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all the maintenance of buildings and grounds.
- Determines material, equipment and supplies needed for small projects.
- Ensures that all areas under repair or maintenance are left clean and free of debris at the end of each workday.
- Maintains all equipment and keeps a detailed log of dates and maintenance that was performed.
- Responsible for lawn care, including sprinkler service and maintenance.
- Responsible for assisting with snow removal. Ice and snow must be treated and ready for clients to move safely about the property. Includes walkways, ramps and common areas.
- Assist with seasonal decorating and ensure grounds are clean.
- Responsible for successful preparation of annual inspections (i.e.: fire alarms, fire department, building department).
- Work is performed in a hospital/rehabilitation setting where privacy is the utmost importance. Employee shall maintain patient confidentiality. Violation of this policy will result in immediate dismissal
- Other related duties as assigned.
Maintenance Experience:
- 2+ years of Property Maintenance experience
Maintenance Required Qualifications/Licensure & Certifications:
- Valid Driver's License
Maintenance Physical Nature of the Job:
- Ability to lift or lower heavy items (50lbs)
