WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING AS A MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
- Maintenance Tasks: Diagnose and repair problems in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, major appliances, carpentry, emergency systems, flooring, hardware accessories, masonry, painting/wallpaper, water features (pools, spas, etc.), fitness equipment, and waste management systems.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with property management and fellow maintenance team members to coordinate repairs, maintenance schedules, and unit turns.
- Safety: Conduct regular inspections to identify and promptly address potential safety hazards. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and report any concerns to the Maintenance Supervisor or General Manager.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to residents, addressing their maintenance needs with a friendly and approachable attitude. Be a responsive and reliable point of contact for all maintenance inquiries.
- Trash Removal: Maintain community by promptly removing trash, debris, and recycling materials from designated areas. Ensure all waste is correctly disposed of by recycling and environmental guidelines.
- Problem Solving: Address maintenance requests from residents promptly and efficiently. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems, and appliances, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment.
- Collaborative Leadership: Assist in preparing staff work and preventive maintenance schedules, daily rounds, and maintaining an inventory of supplies and tools sufficient for providing the appropriate level of service.
COMPENSATION
- $24 - $26 / hour
- with an annual bonus that is tied to performance
- Fully comped onsite unit - 1 bedroom
Qualifications:
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- You have 2 to 5 years of maintenance/facilities experience inmulti-unit residential housing or hospitality.
- You can work our emergency on-call rotation as needed, lift to 50 lbs,and stand for an 8-hour shift.
- You have your HVAC certification
- You know HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, emergency systems, flooring, hardware accessories, fitness equipment, waste management systems
