Location: Broken Arrow, OK
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire
Pay: $20+/hr (Based on Experience)
Shift: Night Shift, 5:30 PM – 3:00 AM

Position Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated Maintenance Technician to help keep our operations running smoothly. This role involves maintaining equipment, ensuring facility safety, and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems. Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment, machinery, and systems to resolve issues efficiently.
• Perform timely repairs on shop equipment, staying within budget guidelines.
• Coordinate and conduct preventive maintenance activities as scheduled.
• Assist with maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the grounds and facilities.
• Prepare documentation and work orders under the guidance of the Maintenance Manager.
• Follow all safety regulations and maintain a hazard-free work environment.
• Operate heavy equipment, including cranes, forklifts, welding tools, and scissor lifts.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Electrical Systems: Familiarity with 460 VAC, 3-phase power systems, A/C & DC motor controls, drives, and VFDs.
• Testing Knowledge: Ability to use a multimeter to test electrical components.
• Wiring Schematics: Experience reading and interpreting wiring diagrams.
• Maintenance Expertise: Hands-on experience with repairing welding machines, electric tools, and positioning equipment.
• Forklift Repair: Proven experience in forklift maintenance.

Preferred Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to inspect equipment regularly and climb stairs or ladders as needed.
• Comfortable stooping, kneeling, and crouching to complete tasks in tight spaces.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Work in outdoor environments with exposure to noise, using personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety goggles, fire-retardant clothing, and steel-toed boots.
• Must respond effectively to alarms and emergency cues, and communicate clearly with co-workers.
