Job Summary:

The General Maintenance Tech will perform general maintenance including plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry and other systems at a successful RV park. 

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Performs general repairs such as painting, electrical work and plumbing. 
• Performs routine maintenance around the park as needed.
• Order supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance.
• Performs other related duties as required.
• Performs monthly electrical meter readings for the billing dept. 
• Performs all of the grounds work. Example - mowing, weed eating etc. 
• Performs all swimming pool and Lake maintenance.  

Required Skills & Abilities:

• Ability to follow instructions from supervisors.
• Knowledge of general carpentry, electrical and plumbing repairs. 
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Willing to get (CPO) Certified Pool Operator license within 90 days of employment. 
• Basic knowledge of RV park maintenance and operations. 

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Related experience is preferred but not required as on-the-job training is offered.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
• Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
• Must be able to work in all weather conditions
