Preferred Personnel Solutions is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a Direct Hire opportunity at a third party logistics company located in Clayton, IN! The ideal candidate should be dependable, have reliable transportation, and available to work full time.
Pay Rate: $23.00-27.00/hour depending on experience
The technician is responsible for providing mechanical and other maintenance support to maintain the facility and all equipment. The technician uses the electronic work order system to establish and maintain priority for their activities. This position provides daily maintenance support for all warehouse related equipment in and around the warehouse facility. They consistently demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot equipment problems as well as resolve any other mechanical and/or technical problems.
Education Requirements for Maintenance Technicians:
- High school diploma or equivalent GED.
Requirements for Maintenance Technicians:
After meeting all of PPS' standard qualifications, Candidate must meet below qualifications:
- Ability to troubleshoot and understand basic mechanical components.
- Forklift certification and basic understanding of forklift components.
- Basic welding skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Must be willing to submit to a drug screening and background check.
Responsibilities of Maintenance Technicians:
- Know and follow safety and GMPs.
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner.
- Performs schedules PM’s according to equipment specification.
- Repair and maintain equipment in and around the warehouse.
- Follows protocol for LOTO and Hot Work.
- Work overtime hours as needed to meet objectives.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Shift Details: Monday-Friday – 11:00AM-7:00PM
