Shift: 2nd Shift (Mon-Fri 2:30-11pm) and 3rd Shift (Sun-Thurs 11pm-7:30am)

Legrand Logistics – Maintenance Technician
2nd Shift: 2:30pm to 11:00pm
Pay: $26/hr. with a shift differential $1.00, per hour
3rd Shift: 11pm to 7:30am
Pay: $26/hr. with a shift differential $1.50, per hour
Essential Job Duties:
- Proactively maintain and repair automation equipment, conveyor systems, and other warehouse house equipment such as electric forklifts and shrink wrap machines.
- Respond to warehouse equipment failures as they occur including diagnosis/fault finding - carry out repairs in a timely manner to minimize equipment downtime.
- Perform Preventative Maintenance (PMs) on all warehouse equipment by utilizing the company’s system and following established procedures.
- Perform general facility maintenance including HVAC, plumbing, security gates, office equipment, etc., as needed.
- Conduct hazards waste cleanup, disposal, and documentation.
- Install, modify, and/or remove decking, beams, and other racking system components.
- Follow all requirements related to material safety data sheets (SDS), lock out/tag out, emergency evacuation, and other safety protocols.
- Support the Environmental Health and Safety Program as it relates to building maintenance or improvement projects.
- Assist with scrap metal/damaged pallet disposal programs and other recycling programs.
- Work within a work order management system, completing assigned tasks and projects, and inputting additional work orders to track repairs
- Education:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Experience:
- Minimum three (3) years of experience working as a maintenance tech.
- Experience working in a manufacturing space with automation systems, preferred - not required.
- Preferred Certifications/Experience
- Certified electrician
- Certified MHE repair; (Crown, Raymond, Hyster, etc.)
- Automation Installation technician
- Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
- Basic electrical and electrical safety
- Mechanical Repairs (bearings, shafts and coupling alignment, etc.)
- Reading and understand technical drawings and schematics
- Hand tool proficiency
- Power tool proficiency
- Lockout / tagout procedures
- Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to interact with individuals at all levels within the organization. Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Good organizational and time management skills, close attention to detail, and the ability to effectively handle multiple priorities.
- Good computer skills, working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and email software. Ability to use internet and web-based resources efficiently and effectively.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot equipment (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, etc.) safely and effectively.
- Proficient understanding of power tools including but not limited to: Hammer Drills, Angle Grinders, Multimeter (voltmeter), Drill Press, Grease Gun, etc.

- Soldering and soldering safety
- Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)
- Automation systems
- Data/networking connectivity
- MHE (Forklift) general maintenance
- Warehouse Racking Systems
- HVAC Maintenance
- CMMS (work order) experience
- Physical Demands of job-related duties include, but not limited to:
- Reach, couch, kneel, bend, walk, or stand for long periods of time
- Lift, push, or pull objects with or without assistance
- Work in awkward positions
- Subject to chemical, mechanical, or electrical hazards
