Maintenance Technician - Gpac

Gpac is currently working with a food manufacturer in northern Iowa who is seeking a Maintenance Technician to add to their team. Business is booming and the company is going through rapid growth!

This person will be responsible for:

• Conducting routine maintenance and scheduled PM services for all areas of the plant
• Work closely with department supervisors to ensure equipment is running smoothly
• Inspect, diagnose, and tests machinery and equipment including pre-operational inspections to ensure production lines are in good mechanical order
• Troubleshoot, repair and replace machines and equipment as needed
• Complete all tasks in the safest and most efficient manner, complying with safety regulations and meeting all federal, state and local environment requirements

An ideal candidate will have:

• Previous maintenance technician experience within a food manufacturing environment
• Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge
• Basic computer and tablet skills
• Ability to work as a team or individually
• Must be able to work in areas of extreme heat, and very cold conditions.

 Relocation is included and client is targeting $22-$38/hr DOE
