Maintenance Technician Job Details:
- Schedule: 6:00AM- 2:30PM Monday- Friday. 1st shift!
- Pay Rate: $20.00- $22.00 Per Hour.
- Type: Contract to Hire Role
- Perform minor fixes, such as repairing broken or damaged equipment, tools, etc.
- Install appliances and equipment as needed.
- Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues.
- Inspect and troubleshoot various equipment and systems.
- Test the functionality of the facility's safety systems.
- Collaborate with a team of workers and other professionals during renovations and/or other facility projects.
- Report to facility or maintenance manager regarding issues resolved, those in need of attention, and currently in progress.
- High school diploma or equivalent required, with at least one year of experience in a mechanical field preferred.
- Ability to learn HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, and work with basic hand tools and other equipment.
- Proficient in reading and utilizing technical manuals and drawings.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, complete tasks without direct supervision, and work overtime when needed.
- Must be physically capable of lifting up to 75 lbs, bending, kneeling, standing, sitting, fitting into tight spaces, and working at heights above 4 feet.
- Valid driver's license required.
