Maintenance Technician - OpSource Staffing

Opsource Staffing has partnered with a local Textile company in ENOREE SC. We are looking for a Maintenance Technician who is mechanically inclined.  Permanent to hire must be able to train on first for a couple of weeks. Hours for this position:

• 2nd shift 3p-11p, will train on 1st then move to 2nd.

Pay for this position:

• $18.00 - $20.00/hr DOE

Job Description for this position:

• Knowledge of electrical fundamentals.
• Proficient understanding of mechanical operations.
• Possess skills in troubleshooting low voltage circuits.
• Knowledge of high voltage circuits up to 600 Volts.
• Capable of performing standard daily maintenance on building and grounds.
• Capable of working from ladders, confined areas, and elevated heights.
• Ability to use basic hand tools including saws, drills and other common tools.
• Assist other areas of facility maintenance when necessary.
• Work within a team environment to achieve the current goal for facility maintenance.
• Ability to use computer systems to use work order system.
• Work in a safe and efficient manner.
• Good communication skills.
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Physical ability to bend, stoop, stand and repetitively lift, push, and pull 50 or more lbs. continuously throughout assigned work shift.
• Moderate physical effort required including sitting, standing, walking, kneeling, squatting & grasping.
• Must be able to work in varying temperatures.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend instructions / directions in English.
• Must be willing to always wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) on the production floor.
• Ability and desire to perform other duties as assigned as it relates to the scope and nature of our business.
