Position Description:
We are seeking a qualified Maintenance Technician responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing plant equipment to ensure continuous operations and meet production requirements. Key responsibilities include:
- Troubleshooting and repairing electrical controls, circuits, mechanical, and pneumatic components and systems.
- Demonstrating knowledge of AC and DC electrical theory and a functional understanding of 3-phase motor control circuits (preferred but not mandatory).
- Demonstrating proficiency with Allen Bradley PLCs, remote sensor interfaces, HMIs, VFDs, and other automated controls, and troubleshooting these systems.
- Performing maintenance and repairs on all manufacturing and facility equipment and systems.
- Conducting preventive maintenance on production, processing, and plant equipment and systems.
- Following instructions and working independently as required.
- Operating forklifts, boom lifts, and scissor lifts.
- Accurately completing all necessary paperwork.
- Being available for scheduled and unscheduled overtime, and adapting to shift changes.
- Operating equipment safely, adhering to GMP guidelines, and maintaining a clean work area.
- Participating in meetings, providing training to others, and filling in for other positions as needed.
- Contributing to a culture of safety and health by adhering to company safety procedures, operating equipment safely, and reporting any unsafe conditions or practices to the supervisor.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- High School Diploma or GED required; Technical Certificate or Associate Degree preferred (not mandatory).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must possess own hand tools for performing job duties.
- Wage is based on experience.
