SURESTAFF is immediately hiring a Maintenance Technician for a client in Fort Worth, TX. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for evaluating processes and configuring manufacturing systems to improve operating capability and sustainability while maintaining all applicable safety and reliability standards. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp to hire employees are offered competitive compensation $18/hr as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Available shifts include: 6am - 2:30pm Monday - Friday (some Saturdays)Flexibility is needed. Some overtime.

Maintenance Technician Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance, including tire removal and replacement
- Conduct preventative maintenance on dock levelers
- Execute basic garage door repairs
- Maintain electric lift battery watering schedules
- Operate various material handling equipment, including forklifts, reach trucks, and scissor lifts
- Install, mount, and fasten items to various surfaces
- Perform general mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks
- Troubleshoot and repair basic mechanical and electrical issues
- Assist in maintaining a safe and clean work environment
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently
- Track equipment items and Maintenance schedules
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in general maintenance or related field
- Valid driver's license
- Forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment)
- Basic mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprint
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various positions (standing, kneeling, climbing
