As a team member in our Maintenance Department we offer a competitive wage range of $15.00 to $16.00 based upon experience and in addition to your hourly rate we offer:

Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform maintenance and repairs to all HDC owned and affiliate properties:
o General Lighting
o Preventative maintenance
o Repair and replacement
o Complaint resolution
o Appropriate logs
o Maintain adequate inventory of parts, tool and supplies
o Miscellaneous paperwork, ordering parts and materials.
Participate in new projects or building rehabilitation such as retail, office and common and public space modifications.
Participates in training offered by or through co-workers Duties as assigned.
Specific Job Knowledge, Skill and Ability:

- Effectively communicate verbally and in writing
- Basic English language communication and mathematical skills in order to communicate with co-workers, fully comprehend job assignments and perform accurate, simple arithmetic functions.
- Ability to move and work throughout the property for the duration of shift.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring bending, stooping and kneeling.
- Ability to push and pull objects or materials weighing up to 100 lbs.
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders, working at heights up to approximately 30 feet for extended periods of time, with the ability to extend arms, often times overhead.
- Ability to grasp, lift or carry items weighing up to 75 lbs., waist high.
Required Experience:
1 year experience in building maintenance field
The individual must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Requires clear, concise verbal communication using two-way radios.
