Maintenance Technician - PrideStaff

We are looking to hire an  Apartment Maintenance Technician  in  Hartford, CT  for an housing establishment!

Pay:  $23-$26/hr

Hours:  7:00am-4:30pm Monday-Friday

Apartment Maintenance Technician Summary:

As an Apartment Maintenance Technician, you will be a vital team member responsible for ensuring the upkeep and functionality of residential properties. With core skills in mechanical knowledge, schematics, and facilities maintenance, you will excel in tasks such as plumbing and general maintenance.

Apartment Maintenance Technician Qualifications:

• The ideal candidate will possess attention to detail and the ability to follow directions
• Have a strong work ethic with reliability and dependability
• Ability and desire to jump in and assist with other community projects
• Operate a variety of machinery, equipment and tools including saws, router, drills, sanders, planers, drill presses and various hand tools.
• Perform minor troubleshooting and repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks

Apartment Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:

• Troubleshooting HVAC system, change filters, and bearings.
• Light plumbing & electrical experience preferred
• Change/repair light bulbs, locks
• Must be able to install and repair appliances
• Perform a variety of locksmith duties; install, repair and replace locks on doors.
• Ability to perform pressure washing, grounds keeping, leaf blowing of breezeways and parking lots
• Have dependable transportation to and from work
