Industrial Maintenance Technician
Responsibilities
+ Perform scheduled inspections and checks on equipment--including automation equipment.
+ Assemble and disassemble machines to make repairs, perform inspections, and replace components.
+ Troubleshoot equipment to identify root causes and suggest appropriate follow-up actions.
+ Log parts and work orders in CMMS and follow proper documentation procedures.
Essential Skills
+ Experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, preventive maintenance, welding, PLC troubleshooting, and electrical systems.
+ 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Fabrication and welding experience is a plus.
Work Environment
This role operates on the 2nd shift from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM in a chemical manufacturing and packaging facility.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based near Waukesha, Wisconsin.
