Job Details
1. Perform routine and preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
2. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on various machines and equipment, including conveyors and boilers.
3. Interpret and utilize hydraulic schematics and PLC troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve machinery problems.
4. Conduct MIG welding tasks as required.
5. Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and implement improvements to machinery and equipment.
6. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while performing maintenance tasks.
7. Document all maintenance and repair activities accurately and timely.
8. Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
9. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this role should possess the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a maintenance technician role, preferably within the Accounting + Finance industry.
2. Proven experience with conveyor systems, boilers, mechanical maintenance, hydraulics, PLC troubleshooting, MIG welding, hydraulic systems, schematics, and electrical troubleshooting.
3. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
4. Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
8. A high degree of professionalism and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
9. Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively.
10. A valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
