Job Summary and Qualifications

General Maintenance Technician II w/ Certification/License primary responsibility includes performing repairs/preventative maintenance on equipment. Other duties include repair and installation of plumbing fixtures; inspection/testing, repair and/or replacement of electrical power circuits and equipment; and running of emergency power generator to ensure proper operation. The Technician also performs general maintenance duties in and around the buildings of the hospital complex.

What qualifications you will need:

• Current Texas Drivers License and clear driving record
  

Possession of one of the following licenses or certifications: 

1. Graduate of a commercial HVAC refrigeration technical school 

2. State issued Journeyman’s Electrical or Plumbing license 

3. Certified Boiler, Plant Operator or Maintenance Technician
