In this role, you will analyze/maintain equipment throughout the plant. You will ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines. Responsibilities:* Understands specifications* Capable of following: Diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications* Troubleshooting malfunctions* Comply with all safety policies, procedures, and good work practicesQualifications: * Must value safety as a deliverable.* Must have high school diploma or equivalent* Must have at least two years of maintenance experience in a production environment* Must be computer literate* Electromechanical troubleshooting (Ex: controls, components, control wiring diagnosis, etc.)* PLC diagnostics and experience preferred* Robotic control* Electrical field device/component troubleshooting and replacement* Mechanical comprehension and functional understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical drives and motors, bearings, fasteners and fittings, hardware* Controls knowledge preferred* Field device knowledge, such as smart eyes, photo eyes, micro switches, proximity devices, encoders, reed sensors, ultrasonic, retroflected and reflective etc. preferred* Electrical control safety devices and installations preferred* Process equipment control knowledge for troubleshooting and installations preferredIf you are interested in this Maintenance Technician role in Indianapolis, IN, please apply via the apply now link provided.
