Maintenance Technician Job 562 - Vertex Global Solutions

We are looking for maintenance technicians who understand motors, starters, contactors, and disconnects. Know 3 phase 480 and PLC(Allen Bradley). Also, can run and spec wiring size and run appropriate conduit.

• Assists in the installation of new equipment.
• Assists the Maintenance Supervisor and/or other personnel on special fabrication and construction projects.
• Follows preventative maintenance schedule.
• Trains Level 1 and 2 Maintenance personnel.
• Troubleshoots and repairs process machinery and hydraulic equipment.
• Changes electrical breakers and electrical starters; operates voltage, amp, and ohm meters.
• Maintains clean, neat and orderly work area at all times.
• Responsible for using assigned safety equipment including a bump cap, safety glasses or goggles, welding protection, and a safety harness; responsible for being familiar with and observing all Company safety rules and regulations.
• Attends regularly scheduled safety meetings and may be asked to serve on Safety Committee.
• All other duties as assigned.
