Maintenance Technician - Spherion

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Technician working in a thriving manufacturing environment. This position is DIRECT HIRE and offers a competitive salary plus benefits!

Shifts Available:
2nd Shift: Mon-Thursday 3:00PM-1:00AM
Weekend Shift: Fri-Sunday5:00AM-5:30PM (must train on 1st shift, weekdays)

Responsibilities:
Maintain, diagnose, and repair or replace faulty mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of machines and equipment including robot
Diagnose and repair or replace faulty electronic and electrical components such as relays, switches, motors, position sensing devices and printed circuit boards
Diagnose malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures and replacing damaged or broken wires or cables
Work with team members to test, troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions on electrical and mechanical equipment and machines, and test operation following repair
Repair broken parts including setting up and operating metalworking tools such as lathe, drill press or grinder
Replace electric motor bearings and rewiring motors

Working hours: 3:00 PM - 1:30 AM (Various Shifts Available)

Skills:
One-year formal education in plant/electrical maintenance or equivalent experience preferred

Education:
High School

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
Must pass math test and pass our forklift-training program and have a valid driver???s license.
Ability to read and interpret measuring devices, schematics, ladder diagrams, and electric symbols.
