Maintenance Technician Lead (Compound) - IPEX Group of Companies

This instrumental position will support machinery and facility maintenance project activities with a primary focus on the Compounding area. The area encompasses Compounding, silos, auxiliary support systems, and infrastructure. These areas are the primary area of responsibility, but the position scope is not limited to the Compound area. These maintenance activities are to be conducted while ensuring and improving safety, product quality, production output, housekeeping and cost control to achieve plant goals.

Responsibilities:

• Identifies equipment related issues that requires repair.
• Maintains and up to date list of the required repairs/improvements.
• Seeks to purchase and install replacement parts as vital to resolve issues.
• Leads the execution and resolution of issues daily on Plant equipment.
• Helps develop and implement continuous improvement efforts related to all machinery and equipment.
• Works independently as well as a part of a group to ensure projects are completed.
• Reports progress on project activities.
• Perform daily shop inspections and preventative maintenance.
