JOB REQUIREMENTS: Summary GenMet is a Contract Metal Fabricator
searching for an experienced Maintenance Technician to repair machines
and provide plant maintenance and preventative action to support our
incredible team who is manufacturing "COOL" products. We are looking
for team members who enjoy meeting challenges and surpassing

candidates will have a background in manufacturing/fabrication. Duties
and responsibilities Models and promotes a culture of honesty,
integrity, teamwork, responsibility, adaptability and continuous
learning and improvement with the highest ethics Safety: ensure proper
implementation of lock-out/tag-out, safety labelling, safety barrier
installation, welding spark isolation, overhead lifting safety, etc..
Maintain all equipment and facility in compliance with all OSHA
standards and requirements. Follow safety rules and expectations and use
safe work practices. Perform safety audits and implement improvements
with team. Correct operating condition of all electrical, mechanical,
hydraulic, plumbing, structural, equipment and components. Outsource
activities for which in-house expertise, capability, certification, or
required schedule precludes necessary work performance in allotted time.
Ensure > 99% machine uptime. Preventive and routine maintenance
activities. Set Preventative Maintenance Schedules. Document maintenance
activities when performed (including those performed by outside
contractors). Ensure that maintenance activity is appropriately
prioritized in conjunction with production scheduler's plan. Perform
and /or train machine operators to perform routine preventative
maintenance on machines and equipment. Create maintenance procedures for
all new equipment. Obtain competitive quotations for all purchases of
equipment, services, and/or supplies. Manage necessary stock of supplies
and equipment (grinders, fluids, etc..). Be available after scheduled
work hours to respond to urgent machine, equipment, or building issues.
Communicate and implement continuous improvement ideas. Support
compliance with ISO9001, ITAR, OSHA and other applicable standards
Assist in Production and perform other duties as needed. Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required. Associate's degree or equivalent
from a two-year college/technical school is desired. 3-5 years of
maintenance and machine repair experience required - basic plumbing,
mechanical skills and/or electrical skills. Experience with power and
hand tools, proficiency with electrical testing devices and
problem-solving skills required. Demonstrate uncompromising ethical
behavior. Must be Safety and Quality conscious. Well organized and
self-directed to complete tasks in a timely manner. Thrive in a fast
paced, team centered environment. Good verbal and written communication
skills, proficient using computers Physical Requirements Must be able to
safely and successfully perform the job functions Must meet physical
requirements for this position as follows: Stand or Sit, Move, Use
hands/Fingers to handle or feel, stoop, kneel, talk/hear, see, carry
