Maintenance Technician - Allegiant HCR

This position is located on our Sprindale Village campus consisting of Independent Living, Assisted Living, and a Skilled Nursing facility.  This position performs repairs and general maintenance tasks, as assigned, on the buildings and equipment of the facilities including: HVAC, electrical, plumbing, kitchen equipment, pool, roofs, and landscaping. Technician will assist maintenance staff with daily work orders and preventive maintenance. Takes pride in caring for a senior living community. 

Credentials:

Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card - or must apply for one within 20 days of hire.

CPR - Offered on campus

Driver's License (Required)

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

• 1+ years experience in Healthcare setting
• 3 years of facility maintenance experience 
• Flooring and roofing experience a PLUS
• Able to follow oral and written directions in English
• Must be able to work in a team environment.

Physical Demands/Working Conditions:

Must be in excellent physical condition; ability to perform tasks that require significant lifting, standing, bending, reaching, stooping, pushing and/or pulling, and walking in an outdoor environment under some temperature extremes.

Primary Duties:

Performs repairs on buildings and equipment of the facilities as well as maintenance repairs on pool and grounds. Will also work on the general maintenance tasks on the buildings of the facilities. Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC equipment, electrical, plumbing, and kitchen equipment.
