Sansom Staffing has partnered with a global manufacturer of sensor, fieldbus, and connectivity and efficient solutions for factory and process automation recruiting for an Industrial Maintenance Technician. The Industrial Maintenance Technician is essential for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of facilities and production equipment. This job title involves performing advanced maintenance tasks, troubleshooting and repairing of mechanical systems, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform routine scheduled and corrective maintenance on a variety of production equipment, quickly and efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Perform intermediate trouble shooting and problem solving using a variety of tools, meters, and techniques.
- Monitors BMS systems daily for all Plymouth Locations. Boiler water testing as required by the State of Minnesota. Preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and minor repair of existing HVAC equipment, including boilers, chillers, compressors, cooling towers, RTU’s, MAU’s, and heat pumps.
- Use SharePoint (SP) to manage work orders, assets and inventory.
- Proficient in the use of voltage meters and continuity testers.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, schematics and specifications
- Monitors the use and inventories of spare parts, maintenance supplies, chemicals, and equipment and initiates reordering when necessary.
- Maintains high quality appearance of production equipment
- Manages production tool crib, issues tools and equipment to workers and maintain records of tools and equipment issued and returned, manually or using computer.
Minimum Qualifications:
A two-year associate’s degree with 2 years’ experience in Industrial/Manufacturing Maintenance; Or 4 years of experience in Industrial/Manufacturing Maintenance. Good working knowledge of electronics and mechanical aspects of production equipment. Strong computer and communication skills. Good problem solving and interpersonal skills. The ability to lift 75lbs. is required.
