Job Overview:
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance duties, both indoors and outdoors.
This role requires someone who can work efficiently in various conditions, including extreme heat, and is capable of handling physical tasks like lifting heavy objects and working from ladders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Power Washing – Clean and maintain exterior surfaces, including sidewalks, driveways, building exteriors, and parking lots.
- Paver Repairs – Replace, re-lay, and repair pavers as needed for walkways and other outdoor surfaces.
- Minor Electrical Repairs – Troubleshoot and perform basic electrical work such as replacing light fixtures, outlets, and fuses.
- Plumbing Repairs – Conduct minor plumbing tasks like fixing leaks, replacing faucets, and unclogging drains.
- Drywall & Painting – Patch holes, perform touch-up painting, and handle other minor drywall repairs.
- Carpentry Repairs – Perform light carpentry tasks, such as repairing or replacing trim, doors, and cabinetry.
- Screen Replacement/Repairs – Repair or replace window and door screens.
- Physical Labor – Must be able to lift and move heavy objects, carry equipment, and work with ladders.
- Plus other work related tasks as needed
Job Requirements:
- Previous experience in maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including extreme heat.
- Strong knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, drywall, and carpentry work.
- Ability to use power tools, ladders, and heavy equipment safely.
- Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy items and work from heights.
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- A positive attitude and the ability to work as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Certification in maintenance or a specialized trade (plumbing, electrical, etc.) is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, and bend for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.).
- Comfortable working outdoors in various temperatures, including extreme heat.
Pay and Benefits:
$20.00 to $25.00, depending on education and experience.
