Maintenance Technician - Ohio - Ultimate Staffing Services

Our Client in the Toledo/Columus, Ohio area is seeking an experienced Building Maintenance Tech to maintain properties between those cities. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of plumbing, construction, and electrical work, and may also work on exterior maintenance tasks such as painting, window replacement, and A/C condenser repairs.

Responsibilities:
- Conducting quality checks on HVAC, air conditioning, plumbing, and electrical systems
- Repairing HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
- Conduct building walk-throughs and measurements for potential locations
- Testing and recommending new maintenance products
- Coordinating deliveries from vendors and suppliers
- Documenting inspections and issues for safety concerns
- Performing landscaping, general maintenance, and pest control
- Managing an inventory of cleaning and repair supplies
- Training junior staff if applicable

Qualifications:
- Construction skills including carpentry, painting, and plumbing
-Must know how to use measuring devices (tape or laser)
-Able to work after hours and on weeks, in extreme circumstances
- Administrative skills for supply ordering, record-keeping, and maintenance scheduling
- Physical strength and dexterity to handle equipment
- Stamina for prolonged standing and walking
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for discussing maintenance issues
- Ability to work in extreme temperatures
- Organizational and time management skills

Experience:
3 years of building maintenance experience
