This position may also perform in-house project/fabrication work as assigned.Responsible for the repair and maintenance of all process and building equipment including but not limited to HVAC, plumbing, process piping, wastewater treatment, electrical and lighting.Assist in the completion of the Preventative Maintenance Program. Perform preventative maintenance on all process and building equipment in accordance with the program. Test and inspect all emergency and life safety systems to meet FM, NFPA, OSHA and all agency standards and guidelines.Responsible for the completion of all project/fabrication work as assigned. Responsible for the coordination of all tasks, the procurement of all necessary parts/supplies and the timely communication and follow-up with the customer/requestor.Communicate with outside vendors as needed for service support, parts supplies, etc. Support outside contractors scheduled to complete projects within the facility.Maintain adequate parts inventory to support the facility.Work safely at all times by consistently following safe work procedures for position, as well as all safety procedures required at your worksite. Promote safety by making suggestions for improvement and promptly reporting all incidents and safety issues to your supervisor/manager.Required Qualifications:3-5 years experience in job related fieldStrong problem solving capabilitiesAbility to use power tools and craft equipmentAbility to read blue printsBasic Plumbing and Pipefitting experienceBasic Carpentry and Fabrication SkillsMust have good computer skillsStrong English communication skills, both verbally and writtenAbility to lift and move heavy objectsMust be flexible with work hours, including off-shift and weekends, as neededMust be able to respond to building related emergency calls after hoursAvailable to work overtime as neededPreferred Qualifications:Technical degree, a plusKnowledge of Preventative Maintenance ProgramsWelding ExperienceThe hiring range for this position ranges from $26.61 - $35.99 per hour. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidates’ relevant skills and experience.
