Job Description:

Title:Maintenance Technician I
Responsibilities:
- Performs electrical, welding, painting, plumbing, and/or carpentry repairs.
- Troubleshoots and conduct periodic inspections to determine Maintenance work required.
- Follows Preventive maintenance instructions and ensures that the records for such are properly documented.
- May perform or assist in the installation, relocation and reinstallation of new and/or existing equipment.
- May perform or assist in the repair and maintenance of support equipment that includes but is not limited to, air compressors, air dryers, vacuum systems, HVAC, and DI water Systems.
- Adheres to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to operate a personal computer including using a Windows based operating system and related software.
- Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Ivy’s software packages.
- Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Read and understand visual aid.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one or 2-step instructions.
- Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.·
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs
- Proficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products and email skills required.
- Technical certification in Electronics or Electrical Engineering or related field.
