SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:
The essential function of the position within the organization is to perform skilled work in applying and maintaining plaster on various surfaces throughout the District.
Essential Job Functions:1. Performs skilled exterior and interior plaster work to support maintenance of District facilities other related duties as assigned or directed.
2. Receives and responds to work orders for routine plaster applications or maintenance work.
3. Prepares for plastering (patches, caulks and paint surfaces where necessary ); plasters building interiors and exteriors.
4. Resurfaces and finishes furnishings around all fixed items that require plaster work.
5. Assist in other areas as it relates to completing maintenance request. Performs cleaning, and simple repair work as required.
6. May drive and operate trucks and other vehicles; operates various hand tools as necessary to accomplish task.
7. Performs other duties as assigned or directed.
Minimum Qualifications:Requires High School diploma or GED; four (4) years of related experience.
