Title: Maintenance PLC Technician
Shift: 3rd shift
Pay Rate: $38.43/hr (union)

As the PLC Technician, you will play a key role in maintaining and repairing complex electrical systems and equipment. This includes everything from automated machines and control systems to alarms and communication networks. You will also be responsible for installing electrical equipment, diagnosing issues, and providing technical support to other maintenance electricians. This role requires a blend of hands-on expertise and technical knowledge, with a strong emphasis on safety and precision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Repair complex electrical equipment, including automated machines, control panels, relays, circuit breakers, communication systems, and alarms.
- Install electrical equipment with minimal instruction.
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, and detect and replace defective control modules.
- Perform complex wiring assignments, including the installation of power, light, electronic, and control circuits.
- Provide technical assistance and guidance to lower-level maintenance electricians.
- Utilize computer proficiency in programming, PLCs, and Foxboro systems.
- Adhere to safety guidelines in performing all job functions and duties.
What You’ll Need To Succeed:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent and completion of formal apprenticeship or equivalent (REQUIRED).
- 3+ years of experience in electrical maintenance, with a focus on complex systems.
- Strong understanding of PLC programming and Foxboro systems.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols.
