Maintenance Technician - South Oxford Management

**Job Summary:**
South Oxford Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a safe, secure, and comfortable living environment for our residents, future residents, visitors, and team members. Your responsibilities will include maintaining the appearance of the community and ensuring the proper functioning of each apartment home.

**Responsibilities:**
- Provide exceptional customer service to residents and future residents
- Conduct visual inspections of the apartment community, address areas of concern, and keep the community clean
- Identify and rectify unsafe conditions in the community promptly
- Perform maintenance and repairs on various systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and pool maintenance
- Coordinate make-ready repairs and services
- Report major repair needs to the maintenance supervisor and property manager
- Remove and transfer appliances, furniture, and equipment as needed
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance
- Communicate effectively with residents, visitors, vendors, and team members
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or Community Manager

**Qualifications:**
- High School diploma or equivalent
- General knowledge of property maintenance
- Proficiency in the safe use and maintenance of hand and power tools
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends and on-call hours
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations including EPA and OSHA
- Certification as a Pool Operator and Universal Freon License preferred; South Oxford Management offers training and licensing opportunities
