Maintenance Technician at Whitestone REIT

Whitestone REIT is looking for a Maintenance Technician to work in our Arizona Scottsdale market. The qualified candidate will have a great work ethic, with the capability to work under minimal supervision and consistently all projects.

 

Qualified candidates must have a personal vehicle for reliable transportation.

 

Responsibilities:

 

• Make light repairs and adjustments on plumbing systems as needed;
• Repair interior and exterior finishes and drywall of properties;
• Repair electrical issues within properties;
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of properties;
• Repair water pumps and fountains;
• Manage time wisely and productively while working independently;
• Able to complete tasks from start to finish. 

Qualifications:

 

• High school graduate or G.E.D. required;
• Valid driver’s license required;
• HVAC certification strongly preferred;
• Minimum of two years general maintenance experience in commercial retail environment required;
• Minimum of two years of general plumbing and electrical experience required;
• Ability to do physical requirements such as stooping, climbing, and ability to lift 40 lbs. or more;
• Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions and complete reports, training will be provided; and
• Ability to work in and around Scottsdale and Phoenix, AZ.
