Maintenance Technician/Assistant
• Duration: 6 months w/ extension and/or conversion opportunities
• Lenexa, KS- 100% on site
o Travel Requirements: Resource will use personal vehicle for travel between two facilities (8-10 mins apart).
• Hours: 7am – 4pm

Comments for Suppliers:
Role Overview:
o Complies with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency and Company directives related to building operations and work safety.
o Performs assigned day-to-day light repairs, emergency, and preventive maintenance. Completes maintenance and repair records as required. Escorts and hosts 3rd party vendors for client equipment repairs.
o Reviews assigned work orders. Estimates time and materials needed to complete repair.
o Assists with inspection and upkeep of building equipment systems. Inspects new installation for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
o Assists with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems to include: plumbing systems, kitchen equipment, roofs, drains, shop, and HVAC.
o Maintains lighting systems throughout the facility, cleaning fixtures and replacing bulbs and lamps.
Years' Experience Required: 2+
Education Requirements: HSD, Trade School preferred
Systems/Software Proficiencies: Outlook, Work Order systems
Certifications: Electrical, Plumbing/HVAC nice to have
• Physical requirements include stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs / ladders and ability to lift / carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more. Performs general preventive maintenance and corrective repair of buildings, industrial systems, equipment and grounds.
• Top 5 Must have Skills:
o Preventative maintenance
o Minor mechanical repair
o Ability to interface with vendors
o Experience maintaining more than one facility
o High level of professionalism
• Top 3 Nice to Have Skills:
o Electrical
o Plumbing/HVAC
o Intermediate production equipment repair

- Performs general preventive maintenance and corrective repair of buildings, industrial systems, equipment, and grounds.
- Working under Sr. Maintenance Technician, assists in monitoring building system operations and performance for a Life Sciences manufacturer (animal health products).
- Utilizes several trade skills such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, HVAC for minor maintenance duties. Training and documentation will be provided on local SOPS.
o Complies with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency and Company directives related to building operations and work safety.
