About the Job
Nesco Resource has openings in Shepherdsville for Production Maintenance Technicians.
Must have two years of education in the field, two years of experience, or both. Must have electrical and mechanical expertise in a manufacturing and production environment. Must have a resume to submit.
Responsibility :
• Maintain all equipment through preventative and proactive maintenance. With the intention of keeping
the equipment in good operating order and as close to factory condition as possible. Except upgrades and improvements.
• Capable of troubleshooting and maintaining the following:
Hydraulic systems, motor controls, electric motors, conveyor systems, ASRS cranes, low voltage
control systems such as PLC hardware, sensors, and IO modules.
• Foam manufacturing, Robot, and PLC experience is a plus.
• Work as a team to properly resolve failures and open issues, promptly.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
• Strong problem-solving skills such as 8D and 5 Whys
• Excellent communication and team skills, and can work with other departments and
outside resources.
• Self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and independently.
• Assist departments requiring maintenance needs or assistance. Such as fabricating guards,
hand tools, some furniture assembly, and hanging operator fans. Complies with Quality, Environmental, and
Material Management System Requirements.
• Assists with the training and development of new maintenance techs (Louisville Seating-specific
equipment).
• Displays a positive attitude towards safety, works safely, follows all company policies, and reports all
unsafe and unhealthy conditions.
• Reports all accidents and injuries immediately.
• Complies with all Health, Safety, and Environmental standards by the Magna Employee
Charter and the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
• Maintain daily inspections and reports on relevant equipment.
• Maintain documentation for maintenance equipment and systems. Such as completing PM records,
documenting daily work activities, and downtime tracking.
• Perform other duties assigned by the maintenance leadership or other leaders within the facility
