Job Description
As a Maintenance Technician, you will complete reactive repairs and follow a preventative maintenance schedule to ensure equipment remains operational. You will utilize hand and power tools such as impact drills, grinders, wrenches, and multimeters. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and repairing gearboxes, motors, sensors, chains, and sprockets, as well as performing electrical troubleshooting by fixing faults in electrical circuits and equipment. Occasionally, you will perform facilities maintenance tasks such as minor plumbing or HVAC repairs.
Responsibilities
+ Complete reactive repairs and follow preventative maintenance schedules.
+ Utilize hand and power tools, including impact drills, grinders, wrenches, and multimeters.
+ Troubleshoot and repair gearboxes, motors, sensors, chains, and sprockets.
+ Perform electrical troubleshooting and repair faults in electrical circuits and equipment.
+ Occasionally perform facilities maintenance tasks such as minor plumbing or HVAC repairs.
Essential Skills
+ Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and repair 480v 3-phase electrical components.
+ Proficiency in using a multimeter.
+ Ability to troubleshoot and repair pneumatics.
+ Ability to interpret schematics.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Knowledge of Allen-Bradley or Mitsubishi PLC circuits is a plus.
+ Experience with MIG or TIG welding is a plus.

Work Environment
You will be part of a team of 6 technicians in a non-climate-controlled facility, which can get very hot. Occasionally, you may need to wear a respirator due to the presence of hazardous chemicals. The facility operates 24/7, leading to more frequent equipment breakdowns. Contractors may occasionally be on-site to assist with repairs until the maintenance team expands. Currently, preventative maintenance tasks are tracked on paper as PM software is not in use.
