About the Job
Manages the development and implementation of testing and inspection procedures. Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions. Oversees production to quality controls to ensure compliance with quality standards and applicable government regulations. Monitors testing results to determine if product specifications are met. Monitors the recommendations of corrective action where necessary and develops plant quality control manuals. Knowledge of Modification Work Order (MWO) process and tracking MWOs in aircraft historical records, ACN, and HYDRA. Experience with customer-based software such as ACN, GCSS-Army, ULLSA-E, or HYDRA. Experience interacting with internal/external customers. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Must have solid verbal and written communications skills to coordinate with both internal and external production control offices to schedule MWO installation and MWO kit shipping to off-site locations.

- Individual needs to be comfortable dealing with all levels of staff, management and customers.
- Candidate needs to understand military standards, requirements and products and have experience coordinating, planning, preparing and executing integration, ground and flight testing.
- Ability to understand program requirements and priorities in real-time and direct the appropriate resources to the required tasks to ensure critical path schedule is maintained.
- Candidate must have demonstrated personnel leadership and project leadership skills, and the ability to cultivate a highly motivated workforce, with the ability to lead and drive change.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- 3 years previous leadership experience in a Rotary Wing maintenance environment required.
- Experienced operations leader with record of leading teams through meaningful change in high tempo environments.
- Provides direction of daily operations of a section.
- Develops work assignments, assess performance of subordinates.
- Strong written, interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to determine priorities of scheduled and drop-in work.
Desired Skills:
- Understanding of the Culture of Accountability.
- Common knowledge of aircraft logs and records process.
- Specific knowledge of H-60, H-6 and H-47 platforms.
- Prior SOF Community experience beneficial.
