We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Grounds Maintenance professional to be an essential part of our dynamic team and help keep the gardens lush and the lawns pristine. This role is perfect for someone who likes to work alone or in a small group.
Hours of Work: Monday Friday 7:30 A.M. To 4:00 P.M. A 30 min. Lunch break and a 15 min. Morning and afternoon break are permitted. (There is a possibility of more breaks, if needed, due to extreme weather conditions).
Scope of Work: Grounds maintenance at the landfill site (i.E. Mowing, weed eating, picking up of paper/trash); washing of vehicles/equipment.Under the routine supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor, Plant Supervisor, or Crew Leader performs entry-level work in the maintenance, construction and repair of Utility Services facilities and water and sewer lines.
Temporary worker will be assigned to individual Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants County-wide. Below are the minimum requirements:
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Ability to stand and walk for 5-8 hours
Ability to work with odors, grease and chemicals (such as lime and bleach) Ability to work outside in heat and humidity
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing Ability to do simple math calculations and measurements Must possess a valid Florida driver s license
