Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mammography Technologist to join our team. As a Mammography Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures.
Responsibilities:- Perform mammography scans using specialized equipment
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures
- Position patients correctly for optimal imaging results
- Operate X-ray and other medical imaging equipment
- Collaborate with radiologists to provide diagnostic evaluation of mammograms
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines
- Provide patient education regarding the mammography process
- Valid certification as a Mammography Technologist
- Proficient in performing mammography scans and interpreting results
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to mammography
- Familiarity with other imaging modalities such as CT, PET scan, and X-ray
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including emergency room settings
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in image capture and documentation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and healthcare professionals
Salary: $55-$65 an hour
