Responsibilities:The Mammography Technologist, under direct supervision, utilize specialized knowledge and skills to produce high quality mammographic images for screening and/or diagnosis for specified patient population. This position is responsible to complete required documentation for MQSA/ACR/FDA accreditations.

Qualifications:- Current State of Washington licensure as a Radiology Technologist – Certified.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) (R)
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) (M) or successful completion of the Mammography certification (M) within 4 months of hire date.
Minimum one year experience in Diagnostic Radiology is preferred. 24 hours of continuing medical education are required every two years; a CPR license to be renewed at designated intervals by VMFH. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; a thorough understanding of anatomy and physiology; strong organizational skills; a willingness to grow with technological changes occurring in the field; the ability to manage stressful situations appropriately; the ability to attend to multiple tasks and work independently; and the ability to be versatile and flexible. A high school diploma or GED is required for this position.
Preferred is two years of experience in mammography.
Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health Compliance requirements.
