Responsibilities:

• Mammography Expertise: Perform a wide range of mammography procedures, including screening and diagnostic mammograms, ensuring adherence to established protocols and safety standards.
• Patient Care: Prepare and position patients for mammograms, ensuring their comfort and safety. Explain procedures and answer questions to alleviate anxiety.
• Image Quality: Optimize image quality through proper technique selection and utilization of advanced imaging technology.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with radiologists, physicians, and other team members to ensure accurate diagnoses and timely treatment planning.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and complete patient records, documenting procedures and findings.

Qualifications:

• Required:
  • Education to meet certification, license, or registration requirements.
  • Oregon Radiographer License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire.
  • National Registered Technologist - Mammography within 6 months (180 days) of hire.
