- Hours: Per DiemPosition Summary:The Mammography Technologist performs a variety of breast imaging procedures.Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe environment for patients, co workers, and Medical staff at all times
- Practice safety absolute when identifying patients throughout all breast imaging and procedures
- Gain patient cooperation by reducing anxieties; providing explanations of imaging procedures; explaining equipment; answering questions
- Provide high caliber breast imaging at all times by following established protocols and procedures; determining necessary adjustments for optimum results; retaking images as required; -
- Apply the principles of teamwork in all aspects of providing patient care
- Exercise independent, professional judgment in the performance of breast imagingMinimum Qualifications:
- Radiologic Technologist ARRT board certified
- Mammography ARRT board certified
- Must meet all ACR/FDA Personnel Qualifications
- Familiar with EPIC, Philips PACS, Hologic Mammography Equipment
- Good communications skills
- Compassionate patient care skills -
