Apply knowledge of management functions, processes, and analytical methods or techniques to gather, analyze, and evaluate information required by program or project managers and customers for aircraft research, development, production, and lifecycle acquisition and sustainment activities; draw conclusions and devise solutions to problems relating to improvement of management effectiveness, organizational structures, work methods and procedure efficiency, and resource requirements, utilization or control; develop and draft program or project milestone, progress monitoring, financial, acquisition, quality control, maintenance, or training documentation; may perform work measurement studies, program or project operations efficiency reviews, cost studies, or workload change impact analyses; rely upon and use automated management information systems in performing fact finding, analytical, and advisory functions.
Be knowledgeable of acquisition program management philosophy, policies and procedures used for the procurement and management of major DoD or USAF systems, subsystems and equipment procurement activities throughout the program’s total life cycle.
Have the ability to support military correspondence requirements; perform fundamental database management and support the management of the AFLCMC/WII website; review acquisition correspondence and other written documentation for accuracy and support in order to complete staffing in a timely fashion; support the development of strategy, projected schedules, financial plans and other time-sensitive documentation required to manage development cycles; and maintain full qualification and proficiency in the use of DTS.
Support the Government by providing administrative management and customer service support for the Commander’s Action Group, FOG, Operations Support, and Det 3 personnel.
Shall support the Government by performing administrative functions in areas to include, but not limited to: military correspondence, fundamental database management, monitoring/maintenance of multi-lined phone system, screening office visitors, security access management support for secure facility, management of documentation in the organization’s database, administrative support to a dynamic team of professional Government personnel, and calendar management.
The Contractor shall support the Government by maintaining full qualification and proficiency in the use of DTS.
The Contractor shall assist the Government by performing administrative and clerical functions associated with running a fast-paced, streamlined PO. Specific support functions the Contractor shall perform include, but are not limited to: typing, filing, copying, paper shredding, destruction of sensitive data, control of documentation, managing correspondence and action items, etc.
Required Skills/Education:
Successful candidate shall demonstrate a minimum of 8 years of experience of relevant management support experience. Candidates with a high school degree must have 14 years of management experience. Two years of the experience must be in a Defense acquisition program.
Education: Bachelors Degree
Years’ Experience: 8-14 years of management support. Recommend candidate has 2 years of experience in DoD acquisition and 1 year of experience in FMS program support.
Travel: Yes - CONUS and OCONUS
Security Clearance Required: Must have Active Secret clearance to apply.
