This position is located in the CFPB, Division of Enforcement. As a Management and Program Analyst, you will assist Enforcement's Policy & Strategy Team in a variety of complex activities and functions related to monitoring financial product and service markets, proposing strategic priorities to the Enforcement Director, developing potential investigations, advising Enforcement teams, and acting as Enforcement's primary point of contact for Bureau and external consumer stakeholders.
Responsibilities
As a Management and Program Analyst (Policy & Strategy), you will:
- Conduct research and analysis, conduct diverse analytical projects, and draft deliverables for complex issues surrounding potential violations of federal consumer financial law, risks of consumer harm in markets, and specific entities.
- Participate in the design and maintenance of enforcement data and analytical tools and systems, including the development and maintenance of enforcement internal databases, information systems, systems of record, reporting tools, dashboards, and other technology solutions used to analyze issues in support of the Policy & Strategy Team.
- Serve as an analyst for the Whistleblower Program, including conducting intake, triage and privilege review, and research and fact-gathering related to submissions.
- Identify gaps and emerging needs and propose and implement improvements to the Policy & Strategy Team's processes, including those related to business processes, communications, automated processes, methods, and procedures.
