Acquisitions Business Operations Manager

Experienced Acquisitions Business Operations Manager
10+ years of overall related experience in Acquisitions management
Experience supporting Senior DoD members in the acquisitions management field
Deep knowledge of and experience in performing senior-level Action Officer functions
Experience developing and reviewing acquisition documentation, Acquisition Decision Memorandums, Acquisition Strategies, information papers and reports, and other documents
Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation and the DoD-specific acquisition policies and processes
Strong organizational, project management and problem-solving skills with impeccable multi-tasking abilities
PPBE experience is a plus
Exceptional task management skills, experience with CATMS is desired
Strong writing background (creating briefs, memos, correspondence, technical papers, etc.. )
Advanced MS Word and PowerPoint skills; proficient MS Teams, Excel and Outlook application skill
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Strong organizational, project management and problem-solving skills with impeccable multi-tasking abilities
Highly motivated professional and capable of managing demanding workload while prioritizing and managing competing priorities
Able to handle sensitive material with a discretion
Bachelor s Degree in a related discipline or field is required
DUTIES:
Assists the Government leadership in coordinating tasks and information across discrete workstreams to ensure each workstream remains informed and aligned to the overall strategic vision and schedule
Actively participate in relevant Client Acquisition-related Working Groups as well as other forums as directed to ensure that that the Department s equities are properly considered and applied
Help drafts correspondence on behalf of the Government Leadership for review/approval
On behalf of Government Leadership coordinates/communicates, including calls, responding to email and interfacing, with stakeholders or their staff at all levels
Coordinates staff actions across the office
Monitors, tasks, and tracks the Department s internal and external staffing actions assigned to and submitted by the Acquisition Office
Responsible for managing the quality of correspondence provided to the Government Leadership for review
On behalf of Government Leadership coordinates/communicates, including calls, responding to email and interfacing, with stakeholders or their staff at all levels
Establishes, documents, and assists with implementation of organization wide business operations processes
Meet with staff members to document as-is and collaboratively drafting to-be processes
Performs technical writing/editing, editorial consultation, proofreading, or overall documentation review for various documents, including acquisition, other program document, and technical papers, and correspondence. Ensure documents are prepared in the appropriate format and are free from grammatical errors
Assists other team members in other specialties as needed to accomplish the overall mission
