Our Client's Business Intelligence team sits at the center of everything data-related at our company. It works cross-functionally with stakeholders to understand business needs, build data models that enable the tracking of critical metrics, and provide analytical insights that drive business decisions. This role’s remit is predominantly focused on the business, overseeing business intelligence for the sales organization, managing data models for our studio, gym, and spa/salon inventory, and supervising the performance of our sales and account management teams. About the role:
Lead a team of analysts to design, QA, and maintain/update the SQL logic underpinning the core data models that power business KPI reporting at the company.
Partner with business stakeholders to deeply understand their reporting requirements; develop and manage comprehensive roadmaps that optimally prioritize the data projects and initiatives that will enable the company to achieve its strategic goals
Oversee the creation and maintenance of reports, dashboards, and data sources that effectively surface business insights to diverse teams within the organization; monitor performance trends and identify areas for improvement, providing actionable recommendations to optimize business processes and inform decisions.
Collaborate closely with software engineering, product, and business teams while developing new product features or changes to third-party business systems to anticipate and communicate relevant data needs.
Collaborate closely with the data warehouse team on overseeing and optimizing ETL pipelines, database performance, and documentation.
Act as a people manager to analysts, enabling their success by providing feedback, helping them overcome obstacles and prioritize goals, overseeing and ensuring the quality of their work product, and fostering their ongoing professional development
Skills & experience:
Bachelor’s degree (preferably in a quantitative field, but not required)
Significant (likely 6+ years) experience in Business Intelligence or a related role involving the development of data models and databases in a rapidly scaling business environment

Strong business acumen and commercial instincts; ability to allocate data resources and prioritize data initiatives based on what will drive the most significant impact on the business
Proven ability to build effective working relationships with stakeholders at all levels of seniority and to distill complex technical concepts clearly and understandably to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience with people management role required; demonstrated ability to mentor and develop a high-performing team, establish clear priorities, and drive results in a dynamic environment
