Compensation range for this role is : $110,000-$123,000.
As a Manager, Carrier Operations (Routing) at RXO, you’ll enable best-in-class route design and productivity across the network, managing market settlement improvement. This role will problem solve system issues via route cause analysis and implement route configurations that optimize productivity across carriers and markets. You will deliver high-quality customer service and completion to Last Mile carriers. What your day-to-day will look like:
- Review routes daily to ensure low miles per stop and high stops per route, while ensuring route is within abilities of carrier to fulfill in a day
- Check route type assignments and length of day to ensure carriers are paid properly for work completed
- Review route designs with routers in markets and coach on improvement opportunities; onboard new routers when any personnel transitions are made
- Update routing system automation as client and market needs shift
- Work with leadership to stand up centralized routing, including daily routing, routing performance auditing and real-time route support
- Work closely with local market teams
What you’ll need to excel:
At a minimum, you’ll need:
- 4 years of experience in carrier development, delivery, distribution logistics and facility/warehouse management
It would be great if you also have:
- Bachelors’ degree in a business-related field
- Routing experience including day-to-day exposure to routing and new best practices
- Strong coaching skills and the ability to train other team members
- System knowledge including full understanding of configuration files within TripNets and variables that can be modified to optimize system for market needs
