Position Overview:
Oversees the development, planning and implementation of educational activities for the clinical staff and patients. Manages the overall operations of the Transition to Nurse Leader portfolio and ensures compliance with regulatory agencies. Implements, communicates, and monitors service line and system-level changes related to documentation, technology/equipment, practice, and workflow. Collaborates with department managers, physicians, and staff to develop and update health education policies and preventive health strategies. Assists with the implementation, monitoring, auditing and other activities to support the interdisciplinary care team.
Job Description :
The person selected for this role must live a commutable distance from the Sacramento office and come on site as needed for meetings, trainings, etc.
EDUCATION:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:
RN-Registered Nurse of California
BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
NPD-BC, CNE, or CNML - preferred
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
8 years recent relevant experience
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Demonstrated knowledge of concepts of educational needs assessment, planning, curriculum development, training implementation and evaluation required.
Demonstrates understanding of adult learning concepts.
Demonstrated leadership skills, including team building, and coaching/mentoring with the ability to motivate and engage others.
Demonstrates solid clinical proficiency and knowledge to effectively plan and coordinate patient care consistent with applicable laws, standards and regulations.
Working knowledge and thorough understanding of state/federal/local and/or accreditation standards and requirements as it relations to operations and organization, with the ability interpret and implement applicable standards and requirements.
Demonstrates ability to develop and manage a budget.
Demonstrates tactical and analytical thinking and planning skills, and is able to develop plan to accomplish objectives, identify obstacles and resolve operational issues.
Knowledge of emerging treads and how it impacts operations.
Ability to build and establish effective working partnership with employees, peers and/or leaders to achieve business objectives.
Verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle difficult circumstances and make sound business decisions with little direction.
Demonstrates ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with changing business priorities.
Ability to use essential software and applications associated with the role’s duties and responsibilities.

Pay Range is $83.00 to $132.80 / hour
_The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
